The TAU of EU CSF III program has held a training on Policy Advocacy for the 5 Policy Working group members from the relevant CSF III grant beneficiary organizations. The training workshop was facilitated by Dr. Eshetu Bekele, Senior Policy Expert (NKE) who is supporting the Policy Influencing work of the program for the CSF III program.

The objective of the training was to provide the participants with an in-depth understanding of the policy process, stakeholder and power analysis so that they can understand the techniques and build their capacity to meaningfully engage and influence the Policies to bring the desired changes. The training was held at the Inter-luxury hotel in two rounds, the first one on 7^th and 8^th while the second one was held on 8^th and 9^th March 2022. The participants have indicated that the training provided knowledge and skills necessary for the policy groups to effectively implement their Policy Influencing Plan. The five policy groups are Gender Equality and Women Empowerment, Peace Building; Rights and Services to Vulnerable Groups, Environmental Impact and Youth Empowerment.  which the groups is prepared by the thematic working group and is intended to help all the Policy Working Groups (PWGs) to better understand the technics.
